For sale is a beautiful mid-century lounge chair featuring brand-new, retro orange/red upholstery...this one is classic, elegant and timeless.
Circa 1960s, this sleek lounge chair is ready to give your space a wonderful retro vibe via its classic MCM styling...especially those wonderfully-curved arm rests giving this baby such a stunning profile and vertical backrest supports. The overall styling resembles that of well-known manufacturer DUX but retains no stampings nor labels so I won't claim it as such; regardless of the maker, it sure is pretty!
CONDITION: The afromosia frame (African teak) has just been reconditioned and looks stellar with coloring that resembles walnut so would blend with a wide-array of mid-century color schemes. As with all vintage furniture, there are some minor blemishes throughout that I already addressed/blended but still remain. Overall, it presents beautifully.
CUSHIONS: The retro cushions have just been professionally upholstered in a wonderful, textured orange-and-red colorway that simply exudes a wonderful texture and overall midcentury mojo. Support straps underneath the seat have been replaced too so they're also ready for the next 30+ years.
DIMENSIONS: 28" wide x 30" high x 28" deep (each dimension taken at the widest point). Seat height from floor is 16.5". FYI - I'm 6'3" and it fits me just fine.
