For sale is this exquisite round-to-oval expandable teak dining table with two expansion leaves, now in absolutely beautiful condition after just undergoing restoration - the quality/richness of the old-growth teak tabletop is pristine and simply beautiful!
OVERVIEW: Circa 1960s, this round-to-oval teak dining table is of the utmost quality and in pristine condition after being recently restored. It now exudes that wonderful warm, old-growth teak glow and has just been refinished so it now exudes a beautiful satin sheen throughout. Closely inspect the pictures and you'll also notice the beautiful tabletop wood graining all the way from one end to the other...they certainly don't make furniture of this quality anymore and a great table for your family to gather around for the next 30+ years! And checkout that thick table apron around the sides...danish quality and proud craftsmanship! Table in unmarked but undoubtedly Made in Denmark - reminds me of tables by Kofod Larsen, its that good!
DIMENSIONS: 47" diameter in the round, then extends to 86.5" long with the two 19.75" leaves inserted - enough for eight people. Normal table height, 28.5" high. All leaves include a matching table apron with the main table for continuity.
CONDITION: I've restored numerous teak pieces over the years and this one is hands-down one of the most exquisite and highest quality craftsmanship, deep-and-dark old-growth teak coloring and overall condition. Its just been restored/reconditioned in so it now exudes a beautiful satin sheen with that lovely warm teak glow to showcase the beautiful old-growth teak woodgrain throughout. As with all vintage furniture, there are some minor blemishes but you'll be hard-pressed to see them on this one - its seriously in pristine condition again! Overall, its stunning and presents beautifully.
CHAIRS: NOT included in price, only shown for context.
