Newly-restored Broyhill Brasilia walnut triple-drawer credenza/sideboard (66" long)

The Broyhill Brasilia walnut 'triple-drawer' dresser / credenza / sideboard is one of the most iconic midcentury pieces and often considered to be the pinnacle of American mid-century modern design; so, I'm pleased to offer this stunning, professionally restored walnut beauty now resurrected back to its full glory...ready to be the focal point of your living space.

OVERVIEW: Originally debuted at the 1962 Seattle World's Fair, the entire Brasilia collection is heralded for its breathtaking architectural/sculptural lines inspired by Oscar Niemeyer's design of Brazil's capital city, Brasilia. This versatile piece works brilliantly as a media/entertainment center, dining room buffet or spectacular bedroom dresser.

Lots of internal storage space with nine drawers total, three that are concealed by the Brasilia signature scalloped doors in the middle flanked by six on either side adorning with those lovely Brasilia brass handles. This model is officially called the 'Brasilia Triple Dresser Base' for you diehard Brasilia fans out there (Broyhill product number 6130-32) - stamped on back, as well.

OVERALL CONDITION: Professionally restored with keen attention paid to preserving its vintage integrity - this one nearly jumps out of the pictures it's so good! Hardware tightened, drawer slides greased and given numerous coatings of protective lacquer finish so it's now in absolutely fabulous condition to remain that way for the next 30+ years. They don't make furniture of this quality anymore. As with all vintage furniture, there are small signs of wear/patina throughout that I've addressed but still remain. It presents beautifully overall.

RESTORATION HIGHLIGHTS: Brasilia pieces were originally toned/colored for a more harmonious color throughout, and while there certainly has been some of that done - I opted to do less concealment on the dresser top in an effort to showcase the beautifully unique walnut heartwood sections. In all my years of restoring Brasilia pieces, I've never had such a stunningly-unique top surface, so I opted to showcase it with the hope the next owner will appreciate it as much as I do!
