For sale is a set of four restored "Eva" dining chairs in wonderful old-growth Danish teak by Niels Koefoed for Koefoed Hornslet, well-known for their sculptural styling combined with supreme ergonomic lumbar support/comfort. All four have been lovingly restored and now in absolutely gorgeous condition, waiting to slide under your dining table for another 30+ years of gracious family gathering.
OVERVIEW: The overall craftsmanship, perfectly tapered vertical-slat backs and sculptural elegance/comfort of these beauties is second to none...and checkout the wonderful teak frames, simply gorgeous!
CONDITION: The frames have been meticulously restored/reconditioned so they now exude deep-and-rich teak coloring and wonderful overall sheen. They are absolutely breathtaking and certain to help make your dining set become the showcase of your dining area...and these are so classic they could be paired with either a vintage or modern dining table. Overall, they present beautifully (and would look stellar with one of the teak dining tables I'm offering for sale).
UPHOLSTERY: All have been professionally-upholstered - including new foam underneath - in a lovely "graphite gray" polyblend fabric called: "Maharam Meld: Panda" (100,000 double rubs) that goes quite lovely with the teak chair frames. If you're looking to exude a comfortable and fantastic midcentury vibe in your dining space for the next 30+ years, these chairs are for you.
CHAIR DIMENSIONS: 18.5ʺ wide x 16.5ʺ deep × 37.5ʺ high. Seat-from-floor height is 18"
NEED A DINING TABLE? I have a few teak dining tables that would work great with these chairs!
FUN FACT: We've had a set of "Eva" surrounding our family dining table a few years ago, so I can assure you their comfortability works great for longer family dinners, game sessions, etc.
