Six Restored Brazilian Rosewood Moller 71 dining chairs

*PRIVATE LISTING FOR MELISSA - Shown here are eight moller chairs that I recently restored, this set of six will be identical in the seat color/material...and just as stunning as this set of eight (perhaps even a bit nicer).

For sale are SIX Moller model 71 rosewood dining chairs in newly-upholstered, black seats. Circa 1960s and just lovingly restored back to pristine condition, the usage of Brazilian Rosewood was banned in the early 1990s, making rosewood furniture in-general more rare and highly sought-after as they're no longer being produced.

OVERVIEW: Keen attention was paid to every detail of their restoration so now in absolutely gorgeous. The rich-and-dark rosewood is absolutely gorgeous and would go great with the round-to-oval Brazilian Rosewood table you purchased.

CHAIR DETAILS: Moller chairs are widely known as the epitome of Danish design; yet within the Moller grouping of designs, the model 71 stands out as something truly special. Notice how the curved backrests slightly taper from the seat to the top. Chairs retain the manufacturer marked "J.L. Moller Models" and Danish Furniture Control stamping verifying their authenticity, with jaw-dropping rosewood woodgraining across each backrest/legs/etc.

UPHOLSTERY: All have just been professionally reupholstered in a refined and classic faux black leather that are both stylish and durable, and will never go out of style by the well-known upholstery shop in Seattle, HM Duke Design. Each chair received new internal seat cushioning along with reinforced nylon strapping mesh underneath for support, and to prevent sagging over time. In short, if you're looking to exude a fantastic mid-century vibe in your dining space while dining comfortably for the next 30+ years, these are the chairs for you.

CONDITION: I've restored numerous rosewood pieces over the years and these are probably the most exquisite set of chairs I've done to date...they've just been lovingly restored/reconditioned so now exude a beautiful sheen with that lovely warm rosewood glow to showcase the beautiful wood-grain throughout. As with all vintage furniture, there are small signs of wear/patina throughout that I've addressed but this one came out pristine. Overall, they present beautifully.
