Restored Hans Olsen for Frem Rolje roundette dining set, circa 1960s

For sale is this restored Hans Olsen for Frem Rolje roundette dining set (yes, the one where the chairs tuck perfectly into the round table like a Danish-designed magic trick). Carefully restored to its original painted white finish, the table gleams with the same charm it had when it first turned heads in the 1960s. The restoration was done with a light touch—preserving authenticity while giving it new life.

Seats four comfortably, impresses endlessly. Perfect for: design lovers, smaller dining spaces, and anyone who wants their dinner guests to say “wait...the chairs do what?!” In all my years of furniture restoration, this is the only painted version of these I've ever come across - so it's as rare as it is impressive. Mid-century form, timeless function.

DIMENSIONS: 41.75ʺ round by 29.5" high - seat height is 17" high

CHAIRS: Blue vinyl seats/backs are vintage with a small amount of patina/wear but still in great condition after being cleaned and reconditioned...I'd say a 9 out of 10. These can easily be replaced down the line by your local upholstery shop, they were just too retro cool to alter (and plenty of life left in them as well).

OVERALL CONDITION: Recently restored and given a new protective finish to both protect this beauty for the next 30+ years and give it a lovely, period-correct satin sheen. As with all vintage furniture, there are some small signs of wear/patina throughout that I have already addressed/blended...this one presents quite lovely though.
