Newly-restored Danish teak extendable dining set (102" Johannes Anderson table and six Koefoed Hornslet "Eva" chairs)

For sale is this exceptional rectangular Danish teak dining table by Johannes Anderson beautifully paired with six newly-upholstered "Eva" dining chairs by Niels Koefoed for Koefoed Hornslet. Circa 1960s, I've restored many mid-century Scandinavian teak dining sets over the years and this pairing may be the epitome of exceptional design and attention to detail...it's absolutely gorgeous and would be a beautiful table situation for your family/guests to gather around the next 30+ years.

OVERVIEW: This extendable teak beauty is of the utmost quality and once again in pristine condition after being recently restored. It now exudes that wonderful warm, old-growth teak glow and has just been refinished so it now exudes a beautiful sheen throughout. Closely inspect the pictures and you'll also notice the beautiful sculptural side design elements and tabletop wood-graining all the way from one end to the other...they certainly don't make furniture of this quality anymore. Even the frame underneath the tabletop is made of teak! Keen attention was paid to every detail of its restoration so it's now in absolutely gorgeous condition, certain to be the focal point of your dining space then pass along to the next generation for their enjoyment too.

SIZE/DIMENSIONS: The scale of this dining table would be best suited for medium-to-larger dining spaces. It is 63" x 35.5" at is smallest, then extends to 82.5" (with one leaf inserted) or a whopping 102" when fully extended with both leaves - that's enough for 8-10 people! Normal dining table height, 28.5" high.

CONDITION: I've restored numerous teak pieces over the years and this one is one of the most exquisite and highest-quality craftsmanship, deep-and-dark old-growth teak coloring and overall condition. It's just been lovingly restored/reconditioned so it now exudes a beautiful satin sheen with that lovely warm teak glow to showcase the beautiful old-growth teak wood-grain throughout. As with all vintage furniture, there are small signs of wear/patina throughout that I've addressed but still remain...you'd be hard pressed to see anything as its in pristine condition once again. It presents beautifully overall.

CHAIRS: Well-known for their sculptural mid-century styling combined with supreme ergonomic lumbar support/comfort - these six "Eva" chairs have been lovingly restored and now in absolutely gorgeous condition, waiting for another 30+ years of gracious family gathering. The overall craftsmanship, perfectly tapered vertical-slat backs and sculptural elegance/comfort of these beauties is second to none...and checkout the wonderful teak frames, simply gorgeous!
