PAIR of Brazilian Rosewood sculptural club chairs for DUX, circa 1960s

RESERVED FOR DEIRDRE (2-28-24) For sale is a beautiful pair of Brazilian Rosewood club/lounge armchairs designed by Ray Zimmerman for DUX, circa 1960s. These Swedish lovelies are made from solid rosewood and are just as comfortable as they are stylish with their black leather cushioned seats and backrests...so classic and timeless.

OVERVIEW: The highlight of these chairs is that deep-and-rich Brazilian Rosewood frames, especially on the sculptural armrests, and they're VERY comfortable too! The harvesting of Brazilian Rosewood was banned in the early 1990s, making rosewood furniture in-general more rare and highly sought-after as it's no longer being produced.

SEATS: The black leather cushions are original and in brilliant condition once again as I have just conditioned them with the same leather products used by vintage Ferrari owners wanting to retain their leather interiors in concours d'elegance condition. There are some small signs of wear/patina on the leather that I've addressed/blended so you'd be hard-pressed to even notice, but I mention it for full transparency. The present beautifully overall.

DIMENSIONS: 25" wide x 30" high x 23" deep (each dimension taken at the widest point). These chairs are quite sturdy too (e.g. I'm 6'3" and these fit me just fine). Seat height from floor is 18".
