PAIR of solid Danish teak sled/lounge chairs (custom upholstery available)

Sorry, this item has sold.

For sale is a very pretty pair of Danish teak sled/club/lounge chairs, just awaiting the upholstery of your choice to perfectly slide into your living space for years of stylish relaxing. These beauties have an awesome low profile, and are very sturdy being made from solid teak...they'd be a welcomed addition into your living space - so stylish/classic!

CONDITION: The frames have just been reconditioned and given a new protective lacquer coating, and the bottom straps have all just been replaced so these will be nice and sturdy once reupholstered. I've taken photos with and without the foam cushions to showcase those lovely frames, sturdy horizontal back slats...and checkout the joinery detail - so unique and sturdy overall!

CUSTOM UPHOLSTERY AVAILABLE: Buy as-is to easily make some cushions (or your local upholstery shop) and make them great again, or I'm happy to help coordinate custom upholstery of your choosing with a well-known midcentury upholstery shop here in the Seattle-area ($750 for both, plus cost of fabric for this option). You select/purchase the upholstery of choice (4 yds in total needed) and we'll do the rest...see last photo for an idea of what custom upholstery could look like (I used cushions from another chair that fit quite nicely). Please contact me to discuss pricing/timing/logistics, appropriate choice of materials/colors, etc. - a quick/informational phone conversation will really help expedite things.

DIMENSIONS: 29.5" wide x 28" high x 28.5" deep (each dimension taken at the widest point). These chairs are sturdy and wide enough to accommodate bigger guests too (e.g. I'm 6'3" and these fit me great). Seat height from floor is 17" and seat width is 21".

SHIPPING: I'd guess shipping will be about $500-$800 anywhere within the lower-48, please contact me with your zipcode for an accurate quote though. I sell and ship much mid-century modern furniture nationwide from my home showroom in Seattle so I'll coordinate all shipping logistics on my end if you'd like...I normally use a shipping company that specializes in furniture transportation and individually wrap/unwrap each piece for the utmost protection. Shipments usually go out the first week of each month. Free local pickup in the Seattle area too, or you can arrange you're own shipping if you'd prefer.

QUESTIONS: Happy to answer any questions and send additional photos, if needed. My hope is to provide as much detail/images so there are no surprises upon delivery.

LASTLY: Please contact me should you have any questions, and visit the gallery section of my online site to give you an idea of the caliber and quality of my restorations: www.MidCenturyClever.com/gallery / and BE SURE TO FOLLOW ALONG ON INSTAGRAM @midcenturyclever.
