The most iconic chair ever produced needs little introduction, for sale is this Eames lounge chair and ottoman by Herman Miller (model 670/671) in stunning black leather and wonderful cherry shells. Introduced in 1956 and still in production today, its ultra stylish and uber comfortable too. Cherry shells are no longer even offered by Herman Miller so it's quite rare/unique too.

OVERVIEW: Eames loungers are timeless pieces that are part work of art, part livable investment and part functional furniture ready to enjoy while lounging/viewing for the next 30+ years, then pass onto the next generation for their enjoyment. This Eames lounger features cherry shells with black leather cushions, with original Herman Miller labels and stamped January 2002 so it's now of legal drinking age too.

CONDITION: I've restored many Eames loungers over the years and rarely see them in as excellent original condition as this one. Regardless, keen attention was paid to get this one back in top shape with: all the cherry wood shells reconditioned to exude a wonderful luster, aluminum bases/sliders have been repolished, and main bushing checked verifying it is very sturdy/solid. The black leather cushions are now in brilliant condition as I have just conditioned them with the same leather products used by vintage Ferrari owners wanting to retain their leather interiors in concours d'elegance condition. It's now in absolutely gorgeous condition, certain to be the focal point of your living space. As with all vintage furniture, there are small signs of wear/patina throughout that I've addressed/blended so you'd be hard-pressed to even notice, but I mention it for full transparency. It presents beautifully overall.

RESTORATION HIGHLIGHTS AND BACKGROUND STORY: This particular lounger/ottoman was purchased directly from a Peruvian architect who sparingly used it and thus kept it in fantastic condition until I recently acquired it...so it's in wonderful restored/timecapsule condition you could say!

DIMENSIONS: 31.5" high x 31" wide x 32" deep ; seat height is 15" from floor.
