Six restored Danish teak curved-back dining chairs, circa 1950-60s

For sale are six beautiful mid-century modern Danish teak dining chairs featuring those lovely curved-back/bentwood backrests, so pretty! These beauties are from the 1950s-60s and are wonderfully constructed/designed of old-growth teak and golden oak. These are quite versatile too, so could easily slide underneath a wide array of tables for a classic midcentury, modern or Danish look. These appear to be designed by well-known furniture designer Borge Mogensen but I can't verify with 100 percent certainty to make that claim...they're certainly stellar though.

Viewed from the front they have a modern yet traditional appearance, then their curved backrest design places them firmly in the ’60s with that simple shield-back that appears to float "mid-air" in profile. In short, they're quite unique and classically stylish all at once.

CONDITION: These are vintage so there is some wear to the chairs from age/use, but very solid and sturdy and looking great once again after just being cleaned/conditioned/oiled to regain their vintage charm and old-growth wood glow. Additionally, the seats have just been reupholstered in a wonderful "graphite gray" chenille/velvet fabric to nicely blend within any interior aesthetic.
