Another first-generation, collectors grade Eames lounge chair and ottoman I'm proud to offer for sale. This is another jaw-dropping Eames beauty that's part work of art, part livable investment and part functional furniture ready to enjoy while lounging/viewing for the next 30+ years, then pass onto the next generation for their enjoyment.

OVERVIEW: This Eames lounger features Brazilian Rosewood shells (all matched/stamped #75) with original black leather cushions in "lovely patina'd" condition - just the right amount of original and classic wear that I have reconditioned with the same leather products used by vintage Ferrari owners wanting to retain their leather interiors in concours d'elegance condition. Keen attention was paid to every detail of its restoration so its now in absolutely gorgeous condition, certain to be the focal point of your living space as it has been mine.

FIRST-GENERATION ELEMENTS: It retains all the aspects of a first-generation Eames as it should, including: flatter down-filled cushions, three-screws under the armrests, silver-round cushion clips and rubber backmounts. Original Eames labels are gone to time but its certainly an authentic example by Herman Miller. I've restored numerous Eames loungers over the years and happy to stand behind this one as authentic and/or provide any additional photos/details to an expert of your selection to verify so you're comfortable with it as well.

CONDITION: The entire chair has just been meticulously gone over, with the rosewood shells being reoiled/conditioned to exude their lustrous sheen and aluminum bases/accents polished to shine brightly once again. All metal sliders (i.e. Domes of Silence) are in-tact and base pedestal bushings are sturdy/solid (ie. no wobbles).

LEATHER, SHOCKMOUNTS and SHELLS: The black "patina'd" leather cushions have been reconditioned with down-feather fill inside each, please see pics denoting the lovely patina/wear. Shockmounts are very solid (a very common frailty of older Eames chairs), I'm 6'3" 225lbs and the chair supports me just fine.

DIMENSIONS: 35" high x 31" wide x 32" deep ; seat height is 15" from floor.

SHIPPING: Please contact me with your zipcode prior to ordering for an exact quote as I'm happy to obtain most efficient/safest/cost-effective option for you..I'd estimate shipping would be around $500-$1100 to most places nationwide from Seattle area. I sell and ship much mid-century modern furniture nationwide from my home showroom in Seattle so I'll coordinate all shipping logistics on behalf of buyer if desired...my preferred shipping companies specialize in furniture transportation and individually wrap/unwrap each piece for the utmost protection. Free local pickup in the Seattle area too, or you can arrange you're own shipping. All shipments must carry cargo insurance to ensure safe delivery/protection for both buyer/seller.

QUESTIONS: Happy to answer any questions and send additional photos, if needed. My hope is to provide as much detail/images so there are no surprises upon delivery.
