RESERVED FOR LAUREL (7-30-23): For sale is probably the coolest coffee table ever in the history of coffee tables, the Drexel Declaration walnut coffee table with clever/hidden interior compartment - now in pristine condition after just being lovingly restored/refreshed (i.e. a few touches here-and-there as it was already in fantastic condition). Circa 1960s, designed by Kipp Stewart and Stewart MacDougall as part of the widely-popular Drexel Declaration line, this beauty is a stunning and ultra-rare piece that is sure to be a focal point of your living space for the next 50+ years. Drexel Declaration catalog product no. 881-340-3 if you're keeping score at home.
DESCRIPTION: The 46"x32" tabletop is absolutely beautiful and features a cleverly-designed pop-up area that can lock into the open position, concealing an interior compartment to hide your remotes/computers/magazine/etc. Two additional pull-out drawers feature the original Drexel-signature white porcelain knobs on the front side; two open bookshelf compartments for additional storage on the backside. Piece is stamped DREXEL DECLARATION underneath, and retains the Drexel stamping on the top drawer too.
CONDITION: Recently restored and given a new protective finish to both protect this beauty for the next 50+ years and give it a lovely satin sheen, it is now in superb condition with a few minor dings here-and-there, expected of vintage pieces...very minor on this one as the original owners took stellar care of it during their tenure. It presents beautifully overall, a high-quality piece of MCM furniture!
DIMENSIONS: 46" long x 16" high x 32" deep
SHIPPING: Shipping is NOT FREE NOR $0.01 so please contact me with your zip code for an exact quote prior to ordering. Etsy's shipping system isn't setup for larger/furniture shipments so please contact me prior to your purchase as shipping costs vary on your specific location. I sell and ship much mid-century modern furniture nationwide from my home showroom in Seattle so I'll coordinate all shipping logistics on my end if you'd like...I use shipping companies that specialize in furniture transportation and individually wrap/unwrap each piece for the utmost protection. Shipments usually go out 2-4 weeks of ordering but shipping times aren't always exact so some flexibility is required. Free local pickup in the Seattle area too, or you can arrange you're own shipping if you'd like.
