Newly-restored Broyhill Brasilia extendable dining set (table, six chairs w/new upholstery)

For sale is the Broyhill Brasilia walnut extendable dining set featuring six coveted "tear-drop" chairs all featuring new fabric/upholstery. Circa 1960s, I've refinished many mid-century tables over the years and this one came out absolutely stunning - the walnut tabletop is now in fantastic condition...a beautiful table for your family to gather around for the next 30+ years!

TABLE: Nicely sized for medium-to-larger dining spaces, the walnut tabletop has that timeless 'surfboard' curved shape and just refinished to the period-correct satin finish that is now in superb/pristine condition while providing a protective coating that'll last the next 30+ years. Technically the table is from the Broyhill Sculptra line, sister product line of Brasilia, but the tabletop is identical...just a tad different leg style (cylindrical vs tapered). Size is 60" x 40" and comes with one 12" expansion leaf that extend the table length to 72" total length and can simply be inserted for larger dinner parties. Normal dining table height, 30" high.

CHAIRS: Six dining chairs feature the Brasilia-signature teardrop seat backs (four armless, two armed/captains chairs) and have all been just reupholstered in a durable, dark gray cotton/poly textured fabric that nicely compliment the walnut wood tone. The teardrop cathedral seatbacks are 37" high, and all very sturdy.

OVERALL CONDITION: Recently restored and given a new protective finish to both protect this beauty for the next 30+ years and give it a lovely, period-correct satin sheen. Tabletop walnut woodgrain/condition is quite lovely, hopefully the photos do it proper justice as I took pics in different lighting to showcase its pristine condition. As with all vintage furniture, there are some small signs of wear/patina throughout that I have already addressed/blended...this set presents beautifully overall though. I've restored many Broyhill pieces over the years and this one ranks right up there, original owners took exceptional care of it during their tenure! They don't make furniture of this quality anymore. Overall, the set presents beautifully and is a high-quality piece of MCM furniture.
