Sorry, this item has sold.

RESERVED FOR STEPH (11-4-22): For sale is this exquisite round-to-oval expandable teak dining table with two expansion leaves, now in pristine condition after just undergoing restoration. I've restored many teak dining tables and the quality/richness of the old-growth teak tabletop is simply beautiful!

OVERVIEW: Circa 1960s, this round-to-oval Danish teak dining table is of high quality and in fabulous condition after being recently restored. It now exudes that wonderful warm, old-growth teak glow and has just been refinished so it now exudes a beautiful satin sheen throughout. Closely inspect the pictures and you'll also notice the beautiful tabletop wood-graining all the way from one end to the other...they certainly don't make furniture of this quality anymore and a great table for your family to gather around for the next 30+ years! No makers mark on this one but I've restored enough teak tables to confirm its indeed Made in Denmark.

DIMENSIONS: This one is a bit wider than most dining tables of the era at 45" diameter when in the round, then extends to 64.5" or 84" long with the two 19.5" leaves inserted - enough for four-to-eight people when expanded. Normal table height, 28" high and both leaves match the main table thickness for nice continuity.

CONDITION: I've restored numerous teak pieces over the years and this one is of top quality craftsmanship, deep-and-dark old-growth teak coloring and overall condition. Its just been restored/reconditioned in so it now exudes a beautiful satin sheen with that lovely warm teak glow to showcase the beautiful old-growth teak woodgrain throughout. As with all vintage furniture, there are some minor blemishes that I have already addressed/blended but you'll be hard-pressed to notice them on this one - its now in fantastic condition again! The woodgrain is a tad darker on the leaves (typical as these weren't used as often as the main tabletop). Overall, it presents beautifully.

NEED CHAIRS TOO? This table goes perfectly with a set of chairs I also have listed for sale, see photo!
